So I've been SUPER busy with school this last little while (ie last few months haha), and our finals just started last week! Anyone who knows me will tell you that Vlad gets MOST inspired during times when he SHOULD BE DOING OTHER THINGS.... like studying! T_T

This is too true!

The area that I'm most skilled at is filmography: I've been doing videos since I was 16. It all started with really crappy quality (but hilarious) school projects, and then moved on to more serious things when I started entering contests, winning prizes, and then pursuing my own creative goals.

However, the more I got into film, the more I realized how HARD it is to accomplish it sometimes, especially with someone like me who is a huge perfectionist. You need camera, actors, lenses, people to help out with equipment, lighting, microphones. Most of that stuff is just money...the REALLY hard part is getting all those people interested and willing to help out without getting paid...

SO...since I realize I can't do film that frequently, but I still need a visually creative outlet open towards me, I decided photography is the best medium! DeviantArt has always been a source of inspiration for me in all the art forms available on it! Amazing community!

I'm happy to finally be making my own contribution!

Continuing with the story, haha...
One of my good photographer buddies JK, offered to lend me his Konica Minolta a-7 since he doesn't use it much anymore. I was pretty excited about this, because it meant I'd have lots of time to play around before I make my decision on which camera I will be getting!

All I wanna say is thanks JK for giving me a great opportunity, and to anyone reading this journal, I hope you will be very pleased with the art that I will be sharing with you all!
